Our aim is to offer a first class service to all our customers.

Variations in Colour

All natural materials supplied by Stone Surface Ltd are subject to their natural markings, veinings, variations in colour, cracks and vents. Granite is a natural material and we are, therefore, unable to guarantee its colour or pattern. Natural variations are intrinsic to the stone’s character and are part of its beauty and should not be seen as a fault.

Samples

Where samples have been provided to customers, identical resemblance of the product supplied to the sample cannot be guaranteed.

Granite is a natural element and can vary in colour. It is for this reason Stone Surface Ltd cannot guarantee the colouring or character of stone delivered and fitted as an exact match to any sample offered.

Templating

Templating is not always an exact science, therefore, slight tolerances in both overhangs and thickness are to be expected. Every care will be taken during the fitting process, however, it may be necessary for our fitting team to cut out plaster during the fitting operation. Stone Surface Ltd do not take any responsibility for live plaster falls and it is the responsibility of the customer to make good these areas prior to fitting.

Payment Terms

A minimum of 50% deposit is payable on order.
Balance is payable on completion of work before we leave the site.
Cash, cheques, credit and debit cards are accepted.
A late payment fee of 10% of final bill will be charged where payment has not been received within 7 days of completion.

Delivery

Delivery to areas which are a significant distance from our warehouse at Barking will incur an extra delivery charge. In some circumstances deliveries may be delayed in order to allow us to group deliveries together. This will be discussed with the customer during the quotation.

Delays in Fitting

We cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen delays which may occur during delivery. However, in the unlikely event of this happening we will endeavour to rearrange a date for delivery and fitting at a time convenient to you. Due to the vagaries and variations of the materials we use, we can only offer an expected time and cannot accept any liability from any loss incurred from any delay in delivering and fitting our product.

If we are forced to make an extra journey because no one is available to receive us at the property or the kitchen is not ready, we reserve the right to charge for any additional costs incurred.

Quotes

Any price quoted to you is based on the information you supply us concerning the dimensions of your kitchen layout. Any changes or amendments to the plan will be charged for.

Ownership

All materials supplied remain the property of Stone Surface Ltd until full and final payment has been acknowledged and received.
